Metso has introduced their next generation of scrap shears. The new Lindemann EtaCut II replaces the first generation EtaCut, renowned for its high production capacity and reliability.
In addition to the key features of the first EtaCut generation the new machine comes with a number of innovations including a new Human Machine Interface (HMI), new transport design and an ergonomic control cabin. The redesigned hydraulic concept also allows higher energy efficiency and productivity per installed kW.
EtaCut shears are designed for effectiveness and low life-cycle costs, which is are reflected in increased processing flexibility, low specific power consumption, enhanced operational reliability and reduced maintenance costs.
The new EtaCut II shear has been completely redesigned, using the latest computer designs and simulations to improve the rigidity of components, ensuring a longer service life and a modern visual image. The innovative hydraulic concept of the EtaCut II combines the latest 400 bar high-pressure hydraulic technology with a compact design of one manifold block to create an outstanding energy efficient solution.
